This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store , and share vendor information during the onboarding process and throughout the partnership.

This policy will be updated subject to any changes in information collection, activities performed, or any applicable regulations. You are encouraged to review the privacy policy whenever you visit this website, to ensure that you understand how any personal information you provide will be used.

2. Purpose and Applicability

This Privacy Policy applies to all who engages with NIIT MTS through the Partner Portal. The purpose of this policy is to ensure transparency in data handling practices, safeguard vendor information, and comply with relevant data protection regulations. It applies to all personal and business data collected, processed, and stored by NIIT MTS in the course of business operations.

3. Information NIIT Collect

We NIIT collect, processes, and retains information about you when you visit our Partner Portal. You may choose to provide us NIIT with the Personally Identifiable Information, or other information, to access protected information on the Partner Portal so that we NIIT can connect with you after your visit, based on your consent.
When you visit our Partner Portal, we may track, collect and aggregate information indicating, among other things, which pages of our portal were visited, the order in which they were visited, when they were visited, and which hyperlinks were “clicked.”
When you access and use the Partner Portal, we may collect the following types of information:

  1. Business Information: Company name, registration details, tax identification numbers (VAT No/GST No/Tax Id/ PAN ID), and business address.
  2. Contact Information: Name, email and phone number of vendor representatives.
  3. Financial Information: Bank details for payment processing, invoices, and transaction records.
  4. Technical Data: IP addresses, Browser information, device information for security and operational purposes.

4. How NIIT Use Your Information

We NIIT use your data for the following purposes:

  1. Onboarding and Verification: To verify the information provided by you and onboard you on the Partner Portal.
  2. Invoice Processing: To facilitate financial transactions.
  3. Communication: To provide updates, support, and respond to inquiries.
  4. Services Deliveries: To allocate the services to be delivered to the ultimate client.
  5. Ultimate Client Approval: Your data can be shared with the Ultimate client for training approval prior to allocation of services.

5. Fairness and Purpose

We NIIT will collect adequate, relevant, and necessary personal information and will process such information fairly and lawfully for the purpose it is collected. The purpose of collection will be specified not later than at the time of data collection, or on each occasion of the change of purpose.

6. Accuracy of Information

The information held by NIIT on this portal shall be checked with you from time to time to ensure that it remains up to date. Should your personal circumstances change, you should notify NIIT immediately. Refer to Section “Contact Information”.

7.1. Information Disclosure

We NIIT may share information with third-party service providers contracted to enable you to provide the services agreed upon. These third-party service providers may use information we NIIT provide to them only as requested and instructed by us.

We NIIT may disclose your personal information as we NIIT believe to be necessary or appropriate:

  2. Regulatory Authorities: To comply with legal obligations and audits.

  5. To allow us NIIT to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we NIIT may sustain.

When conducting business, working on NIIT MTS projects, or implementing new processes or systems, an operation may require the transfer of personal information to other entities or third parties that are located outside of the NIIT MTS operation’s country of business. Your personal information is stored on third-party cloud provider with industry best security certifications and practices.

Your personally identifiable information is kept secure. Only authorized personnel have access to this information. Data access is strictly based on a need-to-know, least privilege principle. We ensures that our authorized personnel employ industry-standard security measures to ensure the security of information through legally binding terms and conditions. However, users of our portal are responsible for maintaining the security of any password, user ID, or other form of authentication involved in obtaining access to password-protected or secure areas of the website. Access to and use of password-protected and/or secure areas of this porta are restricted to authorized personnel only. Any unauthorized access to such areas is prohibited and may lead to criminal prosecution.

In your request, please clarify what personal information you would like to have changed, whether you would like to have your personal information that you have provided to us NIIT suppressed from our database, or what limitations you would like to put on the use of your personal information that you have provided to us. We may conduct an owner verification check to ascertain the identity of the requester.
While the majority of questions and issues related to access can be handled quickly, complex requests may take more effort and time. In such cases, issues will be addressed, or you will be contacted regarding the progress and appropriate next steps, within 30 days.

13. EU-US Data Privacy Framework

NIIT MTS complies with the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework as set forth by the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union to the United States. NIIT MTS has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles.
